Print: Mother and Child 17" x 22", No Signature or Title, B&W

Description

Mother & Child. Print, Black/white, 17" X 22", Some Ivy on left side of picture. Sorry, I know NOTHING about prints or what medium is used. I bought it at an auction last year, in Kentucky. little damage and cleaning needed. Can you tell me what kind of print this is? What period, by looking at clothing? Have you ever seen this before? Thank You for the Help.

This is going to be a tough one to research.
Unless someone recognizes the scene,you may be out of luck.

One thing to try though, Post a copy of the photograph on clothing/textile collectors group /sites. They might at least let you know the Country and Approximate dates of the clothing styles depicted. That would at least give you a time frame and location to look for.
