Pre-1904 Vintage North Pole Oak Ice Box

Description

Pre-1904 North Pole ice box.  In EXCELLENT condition. I believe it was made by the Maine Manufacturing Company in Nashua, New Hampshire.  It is a 2-door front loading model. Dimensions: 30" wide, 21" deep, 60" tall.  No drip pan.  Casters and hardware are original.

Ice boxes like this were much in demand until the 1990's, along with the trend for Victorian decorating, but demand for them has been in decline since that time. Right now we have a hard time getting much over $600.00 for a comparable one.
