Re: Phoenix Chair Co. China Cabinet

Looking for some help as to what this piece is worth before we make it into a wine cabinet!  We don't want to hurt it or modify it if it is valuable!

Re: Phoenix Chair Co. China Cabinet

This piece could be vintage, looks 1950-60. The company was still active in the 90s.

Its hard to tell without seeing the back and the inside.

Phoenix Chair Co.

Please disregard my last comment, there is a modern company using the name. There from Main land China.

I still would like to see the rear and interior before saying what year it is.

If its a true Phoenix Chair Co. It cant be any older than the Art Nouveau period. 1930

I would leave it alone if that's the case.

Re: Phoenix Chair Co. China Cabinet

There was a full dinning room set with 4 chairs, table, & sideboard that sold at auction for $500.

I say Price $150 - $300.

Re: Phoenix Chair Co. China Cabinet

It's in the Art Deco style, popular through the 1920's to World War Two ( 1939), it's worth more if you leave it alone, Deco is hot right now, I could get over $1000.00 for this piece in the right market.
