Description
The pitcher is about 12 1/4" tall. The main emblem is of a woman riding a bat, while holding a cherub, with her cape unfurling behind her. (Very Strange) It has been handed down in my family for several generations along with a set of vase that I believe are much older and I have also listed them. I would really like to find more information and history on this piece. Especially concerning the emblem on the front. I've been told that it's possible a family seal and I'd love to know more about it because it is so unusual. It would also be nice to know how much it might be worth. The inscription on the bottom reads:MERIDAN BRITANNIA PAT JUNE 8th, 1858 DOUBLE WALL PITCHER Thanks so much for any help,Cindy
