The items are made in in Italy. The colbalt blue 7pc set ihas a sticker underneath that reads Pauly &co., and the ruby red Basket also reads Pauly&co.(there are some numbers as well #31577 plus the intials N.R.underneath the large colbalt blue bowl.) The 7pc decanter set has a metal(alluminum?) sticker on the bottle and 2 glasses that reads "Giftware ITALIANA IMPORTERS CORP-Made in ITALY. Each item has gilded gold with hand painted flowers. These are older than I thought. Most likely they are from the 1950's
