Paris Mfg Rolltop Desk and Chair

By tpage66, 6 September, 2009
Description

My parents have a rolltop desk and chair (it's quite small so I'm not sure if it was a child's desk). It has been covered in their basement for some time now. It is in fair condition (has been scribbled on etc.) so it would likely need to be refinished. It has a stamp on the back that says "Made by Paris Mfg Company, South Paris, ME, USA No. 630". My mom said they had the desk in their house as kids (they lived in upstate NY) and we used it as kids growing up (I'm in my early 40s now). So I estimate the age of the desk to be from the 30s or 40s maybe?
