wooden school desk. the top does not have an ink well hole or anything. It is in good condition and has not markings.

These date from the late 19th Century through the 1920's and could be found in many public schools. They were made in huge numbers, of which a great many survive to this day. Values are modest, Most sell at auction for what you paid for yours, in the $10.00- $40.00 range .

I've had one of these for years. Yes, they are schooldesk and are quite easy to find.

I use mine as a end table in my family room. The seat acts as a bookcase and I've layered the desk top to make it straight so a lamp can sit on it. Always have people comment on it.
