Re: oil painting by wijmer name high glory

I have the same painting. It was given to me several months ago by an older woman. Mint condition. I think she may have purchased it as Sears. Anyone know what it is worth?

Re: oil painting by wijmer name high glory

The only thing I have found is an opinion it may be worth around $40.00, but I guess it depends on how much someone likes it. I have not been able to find anything on the artist. I have it on a large wall in the breakfast room for lack of a better place to put it right now and when the afternoon sun lights up that side of the house the snow and highlights in the painting seem to take on a nice "glow".

Re: oil painting by wijmer name high glory

I also have the same painting. exept it like no other ive read about. On the back it has the old style paper they used on the beck of paintings, and it has a texture that you can tell was made by a paintbrush, and it has wijmer's signiture in the bottom. I got it at a yard sale way back up in the country from this elderly lady. I really like it myself, but i am curiouse of how much its worth. If you have any info on it that you would like to share. please contact me at [email protected] all the info. possible would be greatley apreciated
