New Home Polaris Sewing Machine

By gabe, 12 September, 2009
Description

Came across this item at a garage sale....Old woman had passed away and left everything to her neighbor...Neighbor had garage sale ....sold the house and some other things including a 1940 Ford pickup, boxes of old records and 8 tracks, several kilns, and old tools... This sewing machine was given to me when I purchased the kilns...It still functions well...plugged it in to check....has several needles...a foot pedal by Mercury Electric model no. 702...The machine itself is in good shape other than some minor abrasions and scuff marks...most of the wear and tear appears to be on the carrying case itself...the motor is still good and appears to be the original one along with the belt....The sewing machine appears to be made in Japan according to the metal plates attached to it...all the knobs and selector switches seem to work fine...The weight of the machine itself is around 10lbs+....Also inspected some of the inner gears/components....they have minimal to no wear on them....the serial no. is 724 and the model no. is 670...please let me know if I need to upload any more photos...thanks again
