Little table

By Redneck52, 30 March, 2017
Description

Found this little table in storage unit I was cleaning out and don't know anything about it that Mom and Dad left me.

It is 16 1/2 in. X 27 in. And 30 in high. The little drawer in the bottom is put together with wood pegs. There was a fan in the drawer with letters and numbers from probably the 40's or 50's. And the bottom of the drawer is ink stained possibly from the time when that was being used. So I'm wondering if this is worth saving?

Re: Little table

It looks like a washstand from the images and dates from the last quarter of the 19th Century. These were made in huge numbers , before bathrooms every home would have had a couple of them. They were a hot item in the Victorian mad 1980's, but now often go for under $150.00 at auction
