The trumpet is silver but tarnished it works all valves plunge and it makes noise.From the horn to halfway up is engraved with flowers and scroll work King is engraved in the middle below that reads master trumpet below that reads HN White Cleveland Ohio.The serial # is 31329 below that it reads medium bore on the mouth piece it reads HN White cleveland ohio according to HN White web site per numbers the instrument was made between 1910 1915 .
