Description

Hi all,
I am new to Insta Appraisal and wondering if anyone can help me out in placing a value on this school desk I just picked up. Also - what steps should I take to do a light restore (replace wood, etc) or best to sell as is?

Lettering in the Iron shows the manufacturer & Pat. Date. Which got me this far.

Info I have found:
Made in 1872 by J.A Bancroft & Co.
Made in Philadelphia (which is where I live)

In a quick search online I also found this "Special bulletin" from 1872 with info about this model.
Seen here : http://archive.org/details/specialbulletin00jaba

Any info or help with thoughts on restoring or selling as is and a value would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
Rich
