Hunter coin purse

By susquatro, 8 November, 2018
Description

Need some info on this coin purse. It features a clasp with a rabbit, a hunter and a dog. You pull the hunter back and the rabbit pops up like it has been shot and the purse can be opened. It has a smaller compartment inside.
It is stamped with DRGM AND KKOP

Re: Hunter coin purse

DRMG Toys the initials stand for Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchmuster

German Manufacturer Patent type mark 1891 - 1945

I would date this piece circa 1895 - 1905

Origin: Germany Pre WWI

Very cool piece of history.

I would call this Piece Victorian Childrens Mechanical Purse.

Evaluation Estimate: $20 - $50 US .... Due to condition, wear and damage.

Please reply to my valuation with thoughts. And please upvote this if you find value in what I found.

Regards
