Horse Tricycle

By kathygrip, 2 February, 2013
Description

I found this Horse Tricycle in the garage of a house my husband bought. It was in the part of the garage that was boarded up. We found the tricycle way in back and buried. About the only thing I've been able to figure out is that this is probably a Sulky style horse tricycle. No idea what year, or even if it's a real antique. I'm hoping by posting on here someone can give me some information about it and if it has any value.  The property we found this tricycle on is a very old property, FYI.

Thank you!

Re: Horse Tricycle

Very charming piece. Unfortunately it has seen it's better days. It may or may not have had a basket to hold the rider at some point.

Here is a comparable piece in obviously better condition. Was estimated at $200-400 and sold for $650.
