Hamilton 14k gold diamond watch

By fculbertson, 14 November, 2018
Description

This is an antique, women's diamond gold watch by Hamilton. It has '14k gold' engraved on the back top of the casing. On the inside back (Pictured) it has 17Jewels, 780, and USA engraved. The two diamonds on top and bottom look to be a little smaller than .5 carrot diamonds, with a diamond tennis bracelet.

Re: Hamilton 14k gold diamond watch

Circa 1937 - 1948   17 jewel movement.  this is based on the 780 which is the serial number.  (486300) was the total number of watches in this serial set. I would further guess that with this serial number it was just pre WWII. So circa 1937 - 1940's

Origins : Hamilton Watch Co Lancaster PA.

In order to do an evaluation I would need more details and pictures. The clasp on the band, does it work, does it keep time ... any noted damage etc  ....

Very cool watch

Thanks for sharing ....

Peace Always
