good day sir, i have here a piece of furstenberg porcelaine commemorative small plate pin dish. mark on front with picture of lady with inscription universitat hohenheim 20 nov 1818.. at the back of plate .. 250 geburstjahr .franziska von hohenheim1748 -1811.. signed mark f with crown... the color of prints are brown and the f mark is blue 10cm.diameter x 1cm depth. i bought this in a flee market just lately. could you please help me determine its value and worth. thank you. sincerely agustin

No big value I'm afraid, this plate is a 20th century example, Value: less than $20.00

Furstenberg was founded in 1737 in germany. Its one of the oldest manufacturers in Europe.

Hohenheim university is founded on 1818.

the plate is commemorative to Franziska von Hohenheim, who died 1811.

it was indeed made on that date written 1818. 

It is an early 19th century plate.

If you connect all the dots the, your estimate below 20 is far far below.

The date on the plate is not its date of production, plates made during the early 19th Century would not have markings of this type on them. Plates like these are 20th century examples ordered by universities and other organizations for sale to Alumni.

Wow.. that sounds amazing! - I hope you could help more especially like us who are new to collecting antiques.  I have group my collections in couple of photos and im hoping to send it to you, maybe there are items that are valuable and interesting. I am here in Bahrain , and one flea market here just brings a lot of surprises really.
