Description
Chairs were tightened professionally about 10 years ago. Also have been reupholstered at least 4 times that I know of. These pieces are solid and have been used by 3 generations of my family.

This chair is one of 6, and was ownwd by my parents when I was small. I have pictures of the chairs dated 1967, but I am certain they are MUCH older than that.

Your chair is a Colonial Revival style piece, most were made from the 1920's through 1940's. Such pieces were inspired by early American furniture,which was based on English William & Mary, Queen Anne and Chippendale styles.
At auction comparable chairs sell for about $50.00 each.
