Carved Schrank? Cabinet

By Txrose4ever, 18 February, 2017
Description

We got this incredible, ornately carved oak  cabinet at an estate sale. It is in very good condition. We have tried to identify it and obtain a value. Similar to many Schrank type pieces we have seen. It is 2 pieces, a bottom support table and then the cabinet. It is very heavy, Stands 5'5" tall altogether. The support base is 7'8" wide and 20" tall. The cabinet portion is 61/2 feet wide and 45" tall. There are 4 different carved heads on the outer doors, that look like some kind of historical warriors possibly. Carvings on base appear to be gargoyles. Center cabinet area has interesting hardware and a key lock.
