Description

CAMEO Black Onyx

It was passed down from generations but unsure of age.

First off I do not what else it could be beside Onyx.

Glass I would think would have a molded line and looking at the possible age of it as well, Onyx seems to be the way to go.

Rose Gold delicately encases this Cameo Brooch in a very Intricate Rope and Knot Design.

Usually a Designer Mark or Hallmark is shown, can’t find one.

The word "Blackmore" was also brought up from somewhere. Not sure what that entails.

A flaw that is noticeable is a small shear on the back of this Cameo.

Lint was not my friend in some of these shots as well, but what can you do. Tried using that Lint Brush Roller thing but the Cameo got stuck and just kept going round and round on the Roller. That didn’t happen but I thought it might make a funny visual. :)

I am sorry I do not have anymore information on this Black Onyx Cameo Brooch.

That is why I am here on Instapraisal for expert & knowing eyes to gaze upon this Black Onyx Cameo Brooch and reach out to help me/us.

Was told this by a very reputable Estate Jeweler “quite lovely your Cameo and the setting appears to be a handmade one of some age. So so difficult to tell something from a photo”. I wish I could help you more but so difficult as I say from a photo and not having it in my hands.”

Wherein as I believe she is right, I was hoping if someone out there could in fact shed a little light on the darkness that is my hopes of finding out that this Cameo is worth something to save us from the monetary dark clouds that hover over us and are raining down harder every day.

I believe I see in this Girl on this Cameo Brooch different moods depending on the angle of the photo shot. Nonchalant then Happily Blowing on the Flower whilst the Wind Blows in the Opposite Direction. And another angle from the front of her face, she looks different and I think I see a tear coming from her eye. Not sure about that one though.

Any Help would of Course be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

P.S. I am not dumb, I Apparently just cannot spell "Brooch" when it comes to labeling Pictures.

Thank You,

~Fox
