I'm looking for a date range for this Hemstock chicken brick. All of the others I've seen have the word "chicken" stamped on it but this one does not. It's got a lovely seasoning on it and it's in great shape. Any thoughts on value and age would be appreciated! I paid $10 USD for it at a rummage sale.

From the first article it looks like these were first introduced to Britain in 1964 by Sir Terence Conran.
Maybe watch the one that’s being sold now and see if it sales. I doubt it will get that high price. I’m not an expert, just doing google research but I’m thinking most people who’d want one would want it for it’s function, to use it rather than it’s vintage appeal and so would be valued more as cookware than collectible. I’d just be guessing a value so hopefully @lovejoy shows up this weekend and gives a better appraisal. I do think you got a good deal and you should use it.
