Brass & Marble Mantel Thermometer

By vicki624, 8 October, 2012
Description

This thermometer sat in my father's barbershop in the 50's; I have no idea where he got it.  It is brass with a marble base.  Mercury-filled thermometer.  It is almost 9 inches high.  Brass is cracked at the top left side.  No maker's marks of any type.  Any ideas about age or value?

Re: Brass & Marble Mantel Thermometer

i didnt see you listed brass and marble

without and company or markings it hard to figure anything

generally a high dollar item would have a campany name or marking on it somewhere

but that is not always the case
