Description

I have two of these and would like to sell them both as a pair. Purchase Price in 1976 was $325 each. They were purchased from Daytons Department Store in Minneapolis MN. were a fine arts buy was regularly sent to Paris France to purchase fine art. They were purchased by my parents I believe in 1976. Information on the back says:Paul Nemours, Born May 31st. 1945 in St. Marc. Primary School at Fre'es l' insruction in Cre'tienne in St. Marc. Seconday school at Lyc'ee Firmin and centre d' Estruc Classiques in Port-Au-Prince. Began painting in 1966. Learned drawing from mailing class at ABC School Paris 1970. Paints Flower, Fauna, Birds. Description reads: dept.229 SN 62 Class 6 IMxxx/9142749 "Birds Paul Nemours Haiti $325.00 each. Contemporary Art Originals
and Very Desirable. These are Jungle Paintings from Paul Nemours 74. An artist of well known origin.
Very bright colors and fun to look at. These ARE ORIGINALS!! I have to part with them do to the dwindling economy. Art always keeps its value. These are oils with a thin wood border that was his trademark. Originated in Paris, France. they are Truly beautiful. Values on current market today list for $750.00 each.
