Benrose Cherub Lamp

Description

This Lamp has a stamp on the bottom that says Benrose  Made in Italy also... the letter E and the # 09 It was a gift from my Mother and is in excellent condition except for a small chip on the bottom of the girl cherub's big toe which cannot be seen when in standing upright possition....a beautiful lamp , I would like to  know the value of the lamp and the year it was made if possible and if it is a CAPODEPONTE ...Have sent you  2 pictures of the Lamp in question.. Thank You Mrs. Jean Kelly

Re: Benrose Cherub Lamp

My aunt had a pair of these lamps which she most probably purchased in the late 60's or very early 70's. The lamps at the time probably cost around $100 ea. They were imported from Italy and distributed by the Benrose Lamp Company. The major sales representative's name was Benjamin Capelli.
