Beautiful antique "mahogany hall" table (I think!)

By mstallthang, 22 February, 2009
Description

I don't know much about this table, other than it really is beautiful! My husband seems to think it is made of mahogany. I have had two antique dealers tell me that is is a "hall table" and one offered me $350 for it at the time and the other $300, so I knew then it must be worth more! They wouldn't give me any other information or appraisal because I wouldn't pay them $100 to do so! Hopefully someone that sees what pictures I have on here can help me further???? Looking at the pictures it looks like I need to polish it up a lot better! I was in a hurry to get it listed on here and didn't take the time to get in all the crevices to polish, becasue it is beautiful when it is all cleaned and polished! If additional information or pictures are needed please let me know and I will try and comply as best I can. Thank you!
