#1 This steamer trunk came from Sweden in the later 1800's. It is made of cedar, hides, and hand crafted metal. Rough dimensions 22X23X34H

#2 Dresser with Mirror-date unknown early 1900's Maple or cherry wood 35H X 20W X48L Mirror 33 H X36W

The dresser has two owners: both women in our family.

Hump topped trunks like this…

Hump topped trunks like this tend to date from the last quarter of the 19th Century, values for them depend mainly on condition and level of decoration. Most comparables to yours often sell at auction for less than $100.00 "In the rough" . Restored trunks are far more marketable, restoring this trunk will not negatively effect its value as restored examples can retail for three times the value listed above, but the market for them is not currently very strong.
