Antique Mirror

By Maria W, 27 November, 2018
Description

I believe this is antique. It is 2.5 ft by 18 inches roughly. It has a wooden back on it but no information or numbers.. It has some sort of metal eging/ frame of about a cm thick but im not sure what type of metal it is other than its copper coloured and not shiny but dull. The metal frame/ edge stretches around to the back of the mirror and holds the wood in plce. Its all neat and in good condition but the glass has some very minor artifacts under the frame edging.

The glass has a bevelled edge of about a half to 3/4 inch around the edge. The glass is not warped but also very good quality.

Metal flower deoration at the top. It has string to hang it which looks as though it was added more recently.

The whole thing is in excellent condition. Im not really sure of the age of this other than I suspect its antique or possibly vintage.

Anyone with any ideas of its age and value if it has much value?
