I have been offered a desk to sell to raise money for charity and the donor informs me that this desk is of quite some value, as no expert in this field I need help and advice. I am worried that a valuer may not offer enough for it to make a huge markup based on our inexperience. As this desk is raising money for charity I want it to achieve its full potential, also so that I do not let down the donor.
