I purchased this doll at a thrift store in Switzerland. They were selling all kinds of antique treasures there for nothing - so they were not collectors by any means. They also didn't speak any English, so I was not able to get any information on this doll.
It is in wonderful condition. It has the original folk style clothing and black leather lace-up shoes. The clothing has no stains or tears. The face is painted and there are no flaws on it. The face is what is so intriguing to me - it's a cloth doll - all parts are cloth, but the facial curves are just perfect. I've never seen this before. The hair is real hair and is somewhat matted due to lots of years of playing.
I am not a doll collector, so I really need help with this one!
