Alfred Meakin Semi Porcelain Brookdale Pattern Vegetable bowl

By kimcarroll98, 27 December, 2015
Description

I purchased this bowl at a thrift store and have done hours of research trying to track down its history and value so anyone who can help would be greatly appeciated. I've never had to ask for help identifying histories so this one baffles me. It is marked ROYAL SEMI-PORCELAIN and then directly underneath that has a crown and then says AFRED MEAKIN LTD ENGLAND. It appears to have a pattern name (if thats what it is) in pinkish/purlpish lettering that says Brookedale. The bowl has a floral pattern and is 12"Lx9"W. Dish is footed and to me looks like a vegetable dish or serving bowl of some kind. PLEASE if anyone has any info, let me know. Thank you so much in advance. Kim C.
