Statue of liberty commemorative knife

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

This is an extremely nice smaller sized knife. I'm not sure what the case of it is made out of. The blade says buck 826 u.s.a. on the base of it and on the other side it has the number 004343. It is a commemorative knife featuring a gold colored inlay of the statue of liberty and some type of coin insert with liberty on it as well. On the blade is written 1886-1986 banner style. On the housing, the one side has the statue and the opposite side contains the phrase "keep the torch lit" in a banner type gold color. The knife measures 2 3/4" closed and about 4 3/4" when opened. The blade is very nice, has kept sharp easily over the years and still really doesn't show any wear. Thanks for any help.

Syroco large wall hanging birds and floral design

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Excellent
Description

This is a very nice and unique wall hanging. It is made by Syroco, but that's pretty much all I know about this piece in particular. It measures about 30 1/2" tall and up to 17 1/2" in width. It is very charming, nicely detailed with many different variety of flowers and a few birds in the mix. At the bottom, the most impressive bird sits on a branch looking backward. It is very colorful on the front, and the back is an overall black. It has a wall hanger on the back as well. It is in excellent condition with no scrapes or scratches to really speak of. This is a fascinating piece for me, as I grew up looking at it. I would love to know more about its history and value. I'd also like to know about how many of these might still be around. Thanks for any help.

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

I used to live in Bath ME, and one summer at a country auction I picked up a tattered beach chair with canopy and detachable slated leg rest. It is made out of oak, and is stamped under the arm Paris MFG CO, South Paris ME, No, 470. Can anyone tell me anything about these chairs? I'm intrigued that is numbered.

Drexel cherry wood Travis Court sleigh bed

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This is a beautiful cherry wood twin sleigh bed by Drexel. It is stamped on the back 135 - 1 BED, TRAVIS COURT GROU.. (I can't read the last letter(s) of that word) BY DREXEL . I bought it for my daughter when she was about 17 at an antique store in downtown Santa Cruz. I forget how much I paid for it. Being English, I was unaware of the name DREXEL in antique furniture until recently. My daughter is grown up now with a daughter of her own, but she doesn't want the bed. I haven't got room for it. I am asking how much is it worth? It is well taken care of. How old is it?

FDR clock shell?

Category
Clocks
Condition
Poor
Description

It's the shell of an FDR Man of the hour clock.

I had never seen a man of the hour clock but I found one online and I'm posting a picture of it along with my shell of the clock.

I don't know anything about it and I haven't found anything online until I found this other picture.

I'd like to know anything about it, when it was made, who made it and if it's worth anything.

Thanks
