This is a teak chest on large wooden wheels. The locks and corner pieces are missing but the end handles are in place. I was told it was from the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia), probably from the island of Madura. The hinges in the photo are obviously not original but I have had strap hinges made by a metalsmith to fit the original dados.
Round platter with frosted leaves with a flower that looks like evening primrose maybe? The centers of the flowers are also frosted with small beads. The glass platter has a very light frosted throughout is the best I can describe it.
Platter is sectioned off to serve 4 relishes with the center to possibly use as dressing. The leaves or flowers are frosted with small balls of glass This is all done on the back of the glass.
I just want to know what company made the plastic Santa face decoration (framed in the middle of the pic) and what year it was made. My mother in law doesn't know much about it and her Mom has passed. She doesn't know if they got it in Montana or if it was brought over from Germany when her family immigrated during WW2 (prior to my mother in laws birth)...any info would be appreciated. I've searched pics on Google but can't locate this exact face. I'm trying to find the information for my inlaws. It's the Santa face framed in shadow box in the middle of the pic.
