Tinned copper bowl with Hebrew inscription and 12 medallions representing 12 tribes of Israel. 4 characters with dots between them may be a date or signature. Inscription translates to the steps of Seder including Kadesh, Karpas, Urchatz and Maror. Hand engraved. There is a Hebrew character missing from the inscription, and the names of Simeon and Reuben have been swapped (Simeon is usually represented by a building). Plus Levi is represented by a grapevine, not an ephod, which is unusual. No provenance, from a dealer in South Africa.

This is an heirloom from my grandmother born in 1901 in Houston, Tx.

I've heard early 1900s Eastlake Victorian but not sure.

I'd appreciate any information about this piece and its value.

This is a hand crafted glass doors built by famed writer for the New Yorker, Joseph Mitchell.

These doors have real tree branches embedded into the bottom half of the glass.
